We are developing some new functionality to allow you to capture feedback from your customers / prosective customers 7 days after they have requested a quote from your website. So the process is as follows:-
So there are a number of benefits with regard to doing this. Namely, [a] you get to keep in contact with customers / prospective customers without having to do anything, [b] the customer identifies you in the market as someone who cares about customer satisfaction and [c] we can improve the process for you so you generate more leads and hopefully more sales.
We anticipate this functionality being live within the next 2 weeks.

Tomorrow morning at 6am (GMT) we will be performing a server upgrade. We dont expect the service to be out of action for more than 90 minutes.
Why are we upgrading?
We always want to ensure that we provide the fastest service available. Internally, we require all pages (except certain reports) to load within 2 seconds or less. This upgrade will help us get to 1 second or less in the majority of cases
Obviously the speed depends on your broadband connection speeds but everything we can do at this end to help is always something we think we should do.
So from tomorrow we will be on bigger servers which can process more data faster than before and we will have a dedicated supply of bandwidth to the Internet so you can be assured of the best possible speeds from our software.

We are currently developing a new widget which will sit on the dashboard and allow you to create quick links to your most used parts of TravelManager. We will provide an initial list of some 20 or so areas which you can add to this widget and will add more over time. You simply need to set up the widget for the links you require and they will then be only 1 click away from the dashboard
We are also uplifting the welcome section to include more tutorials and help guides, including videos and a quick link to the online webex demo solution.

Since we launched the new tours widget a month ago we have seen a signficant increase in the number of operators managing their tours through TravelManager.
We now have over 600 active (tours that you can book today) tours in the system with more being added every day.
Our new North American site www.coachtoursamerica.com has over 300 tours available today.

We are now in testing for the online tours booking widget. We have also developed the US version of the aggregator site (www.coachtoursamerica.com) and will be testing it for the next couple of days. We will be launching the UK & European versions within the next couple of weeks – so if your interested get your tours into TravelManager – its all included in your subscription
We know your interested in seeing what it looks like so here are a couple of screenshots

The tours can be searched on by numerous different search terms. ie. A user can search by date, location, type of tour (Day Trip, Weekend Break etc.) and by Price – so the site is easily accessible and allows you to get maximum exposure for your tours.
The Tour Details Page can include photographs and videos
You can also include tour highlights and a full itinerary of the tour.
The user can pre-book seats based on availability and the information pops straight into your TravelManager account. It couldnt be easier.
We already have a number of operators in the USA trialling the solution and look forward to driving sales to their tours very soon
Oh and we have some “really” interesting features turning up in a couple of weeks time – but I’ll keep you guessing as to what they might be

We have added a feedback link to the main menu bar inside TravelManager so you can provide us feedback on the application quickly and easily whilst you find an issue or think of a feature request. Simply click on the “Feedback” link in the top menu bar and fill in the message box.

The Vehicle and Driver Assignment functionality has now been released to the live service. You can find the functionality under Employee -> Vehicle / Driver Assignment.
This functionality can save you significant time and energy when allocating drivers and vehicles to service contracts and private hire work so do take the time to have a play with it when you are next logged in.
