It would seem Global Charter Services Ltd (aka BusBank) thought it was a real bank and has followed some of the worlds great and the good in the financial sector. News reaches us that BusBank has filed for Chapter 11.  Their website still seems to be up and running but they haven’t posted on their blog since 24th April 2009 (they used to post very regularly) – so maybe its been in place a while and its been a long time coming.

They have between 200 to 999 creditors with total liabilities between $1m and $10m. Seems like they also owe Coach USA $1m and plenty of operators between $35k and $90k each. Ouch!

We have now implemented vehicle based routing functionality into the online charter quoting functionality.

What does this mean?

If you have multiple office locations and a customer requests a specific type of vehicle via the online quotations tool then that quote request is automatically routed to the nearest office with that vehicle type. This saves on additional work for people who are unable to deal with the request and also makes it quicker to respond to the customer. TravelManager is pleased to announce support for the following languages on the quotation widget.

  2. Danish
  3. English
  4. Estonian
  5. French
  6. Finnish
  7. German
  8. Italian
  9. Polish
  10. Romanian
  11. Spanish
  12. Swiss

Thank you to everyone who helped with the translations, a true team effort there icon wink Quotation Widget now in 12 languages  More languages to follow next week so keep them coming. We will then start to translate all of the emails and other areas of the application soon after.

We have now rolled out to live the Polish, Finnish & German versions of the quotation widget.

The new multi-lingual quotation widget is another industry first for TravelManager. The Global Passenger Network (GPN) have now launched this on their website (www.gpn.travel) which services some 20+ countries across Europe, North America and Asia.

Currently available in English, Italian & Chinese with German and Spanish due very soon and more languages within the coming weeks.
